ProSites is searched by name about 1,300 times a month in the US, and the practices doing the searching are usually choosing or reconsidering a website provider. If you came here for "ProSites reviews," this page won't rate ProSites or quote review sites. It sets out what ProSites publishes about its plans and products, what it doesn't publish, who it suits, and how the alternatives differ.

What ProSites offers, as published
ProSites describes itself on its FAQ page (opens in a new tab) as "a dental marketing and practice-efficiency company." Its home page (opens in a new tab) says it has 20+ years in dental marketing, and ProSites says it serves 7,500+ practices and is endorsed by 16+ dental associations. Everything it markets is aimed at dental practices.
Four plans. ProSites' pricing page (opens in a new tab) lists four plans, each building on the one before:
| Plan | What ProSites lists |
|---|---|
| Get Started | 100+ website templates; 150+ pages of dental content; a website editor; online appointment requests and lead forms; premium social media; starter SEO with Google Business Profile and Facebook optimization; up to 10 local business listings; call tracking |
| Competitive Edge | Adds essential SEO; up to 50 listings; up to 2 backlinks a month; up to 2 custom SEO content pages a year; a dedicated account manager, ROI reporting and an insights dashboard |
| Market Leader | Adds a semi-custom website; custom banners and taglines; educational dental videos; Pro SEO; up to 75 listings; up to 4 backlinks a month; up to 3 custom SEO content pages; blog setup and posting |
| Market Owner | Adds Enterprise SEO; up to 100 listings; up to 6 backlinks a month; up to 6 custom SEO content pages; quarterly audits; done-for-you Google Search Ads |
All plans include 150+ ready-made web pages, unlimited support, and "premium social media": weekly posts, a branded Facebook page, banners and company videos.
Website design levels. Its Modernize My Website page (opens in a new tab) describes four design options: Pre-Designed, Semi-Custom Design, Custom Design and Custom Design Pro, the last with a fully custom homepage. The design gallery shows styles for general, cosmetic and pediatric dentistry, orthodontics and endodontics.
Products sold beyond the plans. ProSites markets:
- Google Search Ads (PPC), Local Services Ads, and paid social on Facebook and Instagram;
- review management to request, manage and showcase patient reviews;
- an AI Receptionist for answering calls, and AI Chat for the website;
- online booking "with a schedule you control," reminders, recall and follow-up messages;
- online patient forms (opens in a new tab), which it describes as "HIPAA-compliant digital forms," with electronic consent signing, Spanish translation options and practice management software (PMS) workflow support;
- insurance verification and online patient bill pay.

Pricing and contract terms: what's public
The pricing page lists features, not prices. Here is what ProSites' public pages say, as of October 23, 2026:
| Item | What's published |
|---|---|
| Plan prices and setup fees | Not published. The FAQ (opens in a new tab) says "There isn't one price that fits every practice" and that cost depends on the solutions you choose |
| Contract length and cancellation | The FAQ says "Most ProSites products are month to month" and that for most services you "can cancel anytime" |
| Domain and website ownership if you leave | Not stated on its public pages |
| A Business Associate Agreement (BAA) for its forms, booking or AI tools | Not stated on its public pages |
"Most" leaves room for exceptions, so ask which of your products are month to month, and get the cost, ownership and BAA answers in writing. Compare every provider on the same lines:
- Monthly fee for your plan, setup fee and anything billed annually.
- Initial term, automatic renewal and the notice needed to cancel.
- Who is the registrant of your domain, and how it transfers to you.
- Who owns the design, the written content and the photos, and whether you can export them.
- Whether ProSites signs a BAA covering forms, booking, AI Chat and the AI Receptionist, and what happens to submissions when you leave.
- On Market Owner or the PPC add-on: whose Google Ads account it is, and whether ad spend is billed by Google directly.
Our list of contract questions explains what good answers look like.
This is general information, not legal advice. Confirm how it applies to your practice with a qualified advisor.
Who ProSites fits best
When ProSites is the better fit
ProSites may be the better fit when:
- You want a dental-only vendor. Its plans, content library, design gallery and tools are built around dental practices, including specialties such as orthodontics and endodontics.
- You want marketing and front-desk tools from one company. ProSites sells forms, online booking, reminders, insurance verification, AI Chat, an AI Receptionist and bill pay alongside the website and SEO.
- You want to launch quickly from a design library. Ready-made templates and 150+ pre-written pages are a shorter path than a custom build.
- You want ads and social media handled for you. Every plan includes managed social posting, and Market Owner adds done-for-you Google Search Ads.
- Your current ProSites site works. If it loads quickly, ranks for your main treatments and brings in new-patient calls, rebuilding it costs time and carries redirect risk.
Whichever provider you choose, a clear term, a domain in the practice's name and an export path make it a safer choice.
If your site is slow, thin on treatment pages, or hard to edit, compare the alternatives below. Our guide to dental website design shows what a strong dental site includes, page by page.
Alternatives: other website providers, agencies and AI platforms
| Model | Example, from its own pages | Pricing, as published | Watch for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Dental marketing and practice-efficiency vendor | ProSites: four plans from website and social to SEO and Google Ads, plus forms, booking and AI tools | Not published; quote-based (FAQ: most products month to month) | Which products are month to month, domain, BAA |
| Healthcare marketing vendor with dental focus | DoctorLogic (Yapi + DoctorLogic) lists (opens in a new tab) dental marketing, website design, SEO, Google Ads and reputation management | Not published; demo | Ownership and contract terms |
| EHR suite with marketing | Tebra sells websites and marketing alongside its EHR and billing | Not published (opens in a new tab); quote by providers and features | Term and auto-renewal |
| Full-service agency | Custom strategy, creative and campaign work | Retainer or project fees | Minimum terms, ad-spend billing |
| DIY website builder | Squarespace or Wix, built by you or your staff | Monthly or annual plan | Your time; HIPAA limits on forms |
| AI marketing platform | Medfy | $349/month base plan | What still needs your team |
Last verified October 23, 2026.
On DIY builders and forms. Squarespace says its form block can't be used (opens in a new tab) as part of a HIPAA-compliant solution; it signs a BAA only for Acuity Scheduling on its Powerhouse or Premium plans. Wix offers a BAA on its Business, Plus, Elite, Business Elite and Enterprise plans (opens in a new tab) after you activate PHI protection. Either way, use a form tool that will sign a BAA if forms collect health details.
For the EHR-suite model, see PatientPop alternatives, which covers Tebra's published terms in detail.
Where Medfy fits
Medfy rebuilds your website and hosts it on your own domain, and you see a free preview of the rebuilt site before paying. The base plan is $349/month and also covers automated SEO, AI visibility tracking, first-party analytics and HIPAA-compliant forms, with a BAA signed with your practice. Medfy doesn't run review requests or provide online scheduling software; its analytics count booking clicks to the scheduling tool you already use.
Switching providers without losing your site's history
Your search rankings are tied to your domain and your page addresses, not to your provider. A switch that keeps both intact keeps most of that history. The order matters:
- Confirm the domain is the practice's. Look up the registrant. If the provider registered it, get the transfer, or at least DNS access, arranged before you give notice.
- List every URL. Export the sitemap or crawl the site, including old blog posts and treatment pages.
- Map redirects. Each old URL gets a 301 redirect to its closest new page. Never send everything to the home page.
- Move content you own. Rewrite anything you don't have rights to, and replace licensed photos.
- Rebuild forms. Use a HIPAA-appropriate tool for any form that collects health details, and test every one.
- Plan email. If the old provider hosts email on your domain, move it before you change DNS.
- Cut over, then check. Switch DNS on a quiet day, update your Google Business Profile website link, resubmit the sitemap in Search Console and watch for 404 errors for a few weeks.
Our website migration checklist covers each step in detail. To see your current site's scores first, start with a free audit and website preview.
Frequently asked questions
How much does a ProSites website cost?
ProSites doesn't publish prices on its public pages as of October 23, 2026. Its pricing page lists four plans, Get Started, Competitive Edge, Market Leader and Market Owner, with features but no dollar amounts, and invites you to book a meeting or take a plan quiz. Ask for a written quote with the monthly fee, setup fee, term and renewal, and compare other providers on the same lines.
Do I own my domain with ProSites?
Domain ownership isn't stated on ProSites' public pages as of October 23, 2026. What decides it is the registration record: look up your domain and check that the practice is the registrant and that you can log in to the registrar. If ProSites or any vendor registers it for you, ask in writing how it transfers to you if you leave. Your domain should always be the practice's.
How do I switch dental website providers?
List every page URL on your current site, build the new site, and map each old URL to its new page with 301 redirects. Move content you have rights to, rebuild forms on a tool that will sign a BAA if they collect health details, then switch DNS at a quiet time. Update your Google Business Profile link and resubmit your sitemap in Search Console.
